THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL…

DATE: Wednesday, August 30th, 2017.
TEXT: 2 Corinthians 12:8–9, Hebrews 4:16

THEME: GRACE IN ABUNDANCE
MEMORIZE: "Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord. " (2 Peter 1:2)

MESSAGE:

What sustains every believer in Christ Jesus is the grace of God. It is by it we are reconciled to God Almighty because Christ Jesus redeemed us at the cross and resurrected and by this victory, the grace of God has appeared unto all men to accept the finished work of the Lord at the cross. Grace as the bible admonished does not expect us to continue in sin.

Anyone who does so has not the grace of God. We are saved by grace and more so it is same that helps us to overcome the world and its lust. Anyone who isolates his/herself from grace will be subjected to the will of the flesh. The scriptures says, "I can do all things through Christ that strengthened me." Unfortunately, some have fallen from grace and are in danger of damnation except they repent and return back to grace. It is this grace that makes us the New Testament believers. You must not tread upon grace once you have received it through salvation. It is an unmerited favour purchased by the blood of Jesus Christ, by which we are strengthened, saved, purified to live a Christ like life in words, actions thoughts and disposition.

Christ has crucified the flesh at the cross that we should no longer live in the lust thereof, but in of the spirit. Remember by their fruits we shall know them, they that are redeemed by the grace. This grace of God is still available to as many that are yet to receive it.

They should take advantage of it now, for when the church goes on rapture there will be no more grace. Grace qualities you when you are not qualified. It helps you to maintain a healthy relationship with God. and grace is indispensable in our Christian race.

Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:

1. Father, by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross. I receive the grace to overcome the works of flesh in Jesus' name.
2. I decree that abundance of God's grace will follow me in all aspects of life, in Jesus’name.
3. Release extraordinary and supernatural grace in abundance upon our G. O and our Mummy' in the Lord, in Jesus’name.
