FRUITFULNESS AND MULTIPLICATION (SOWING & REAPING)

COMBINED SUNDAY SERVICE MESSAGE

TEXT Genesis 8:32, Galatians 6:7, Psalm 126:5 - 6, Ecclesiastics 11:1 - 6

TOPIC: Fruitfulness and multiplication: (Sowing and Reaping)

We should know that God cannot lie (Numbers 23:19) and He has promised to bless us and he will bring it to past. God has decreed that the law of fruitfulness is to sow, no one can reap or multiply without sowing. Whatever a man sow that shall he also reap. Those who have neglected this principle of sowing have been suffering, I pray we don’t neglect the principle of God in Jesus name.

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL...TOPIC: SINFUL LIFESTYLE HINDERS FRUITFULNESS

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL...
DATE: Friday April, 28th, 2017.
TEXT: Prov. 14:34, Gen 3: 17 – 19, 23 – 24
TOPIC: SINFUL LIFESTYLE HINDERS FRUITFULNESS
MEMORISE: “He that soweth iniquity shall reap vanity: and the rod of his anger shall fail.” (Proverbs 22:8)

MESSAGE:

Man in his natural form carries a sinful nature, inherited from our first parents Adam and Eve who went on to multiply the earth with offspring in such sinful form. Sin has been man’s root problem since his fall. The implication is that man lost the glory of God and fellowship with Him. God is of purer eyes to behold iniquity. After the fall of man, he began to suffer terribly; the ground was no more fertile for him and sorrows characterized all that man did. But Jesus came to pay the ultimate price for mankind and as many who receive him as their personal Lord and Saviour will have their sins forgiven, and the glory lost by the first man restored to them.

From the experience which Adam and Eve had as a result of their disobedience, it is evident that sin is the major reason why many people all over the world are passing through terrible predicaments. No being can oppose the living God. His standard remains righteousness and holiness. If you are convicted of sin, you should not follow the example set by Adam by simply walking away. What you have to do is genuinely repent from your sin and then go ahead to maintain holiness and righteousness as is His nature. Once this is done, He is ever ready to receive you back as His son/daughter, and assuredly you will be fruitful and be blessed in every aspect of life. Note, it is the promise of our Father to bless those who obey Him. God is not a man that He should lie. So, go ahead and live your life to please Him always, and you shall be blessed here on earth and still make heaven at last.

Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:

1. O Lord God my Father, I repent from all forms of sinful lifestyles, in Jesus' name.
2. By your Spirit, I receive fresh grace for purity; to live a life of holiness and righteousness, in Jesus' name.
3. By your grace and power, I command every lost glory as a result of sin to be restored, in Jesus' name.
4. Lord, I pray for greater grace, higher levels of righteousness, holy living and sanctification to come upon the life of our G.O, our mummy in the Lord and The Lord’s Chosen ministry, in Jesus name.

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL...TOPIC: BEWARE OF DREAM KILLERS!

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL...
DATE: Wednesday April 26th, 2017.
TEXT: Genesis 1:26, Genesis 8:15-17
TOPIC: BEWARE OF DREAM KILLERS!

MEMORISE: “And he told it to his father, and to his brethren: and his father rebuked him, and said unto him, What is this dream that thou hast dreamed? Shall I and thy mother and thy brethren indeed come to bow down ourselves to thee to the earth? 11 And his brethren envied him; but his father observed the saying.” (Genesis 37:10-11)

MESSAGE:

There are those whom the devil always plant to abort good dreams. It could be family member, close relatives and even friends. In the case of Joseph, those that planned to abort his dreams were his own blood brothers. Whether you believe it or not, there are people who are not happy with that story of success and upcoming business, promotion, marriage, scholarship, employment and other things which you have told them about. It might surprise you that the person you gave some money as a way of help has turned against you to close the source of your income. Even the woman you gave wrapper is not happy that you are the one that has risen to the point of buying wrappers for her and has taken both the wrapper and your name to a witchdoctor to work against you. These are dream killers.

I do not know the dream you had. But remember, Joseph told his dream to those he felt loved him and nearly paid with life except for divine providence. So, you must be careful how you joyfully relate to friends, family members, colleagues and so on, that lofty dream. It is not every one of them that might be happy with your progress. You must be prudent with your words. Many of them might be agents planted to abort your dreams.

Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:

1. By the power and authority of the Holy Spirit, I decree that none of my dreams shall die by the manipulation of my enemies, in Jesus' name.
2. Any dream killer assigned against my destiny; be frustrated, in Jesus' name.
3. As Joseph prospered in everything entrusted in his hands, so will I prosper in everything God puts in my hands, in Jesus' name.
4. Our G. O, mummy, their children and The Lord’s Chosen ministry, shall prosper, in Jesus' name.

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL...TOPIC: IS YOUR FOUNDATION SOLID?

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL...
DATE: Tuesday, April 25th, 2017.
TEXT: Luke 6: 46-39
TOPIC: IS YOUR FOUNDATION SOLID?
MEMORISE: “If the foundation be destroyed, what can the righteous do?” (Psalm 11:3)

MESSAGE:

The foundation is the most important part of a structure. No matter how beautiful a building may look from the outside and inside, if the foundation is weak, it will just take one terrible storm to expose the weakness of the structure and all of it will come tumbling down. Ironically, nobody sees the foundation of a building. It is hidden deep within the ground but it is the heart of the building. Only the builder knows whether the foundation is good or bad. The same can be said of our Christian lives. What type of foundation have you built your Christianity on? Is it based on the truth or on faulty doctrine? Does your foundation align with the Bible or does it align with the prevailing world culture. Is everything permissible for you? Is there a difference between you and your colleague at work or in your place of business who does not claim to know God? Can people identify you as they did the early Christians in Antioch where they were first called Christians? Only God knows those that are truly His.

Jesus says that if you do not do the things He commanded you to do then you are on a faulty foundation. Any foundation that is not built on obedience and deep knowledge of the word of God will crumble in the midst of the storms of life. A person with a faulty foundation when confronted with temptations will easily fall into sin. Or when faced with life challenges will begin to blame God and fall away from the faith. Brethren, it is import we make sure that we are on a solid foundation lest we will be blown away when the storm comes. It is time to examine ourselves and ensure we are on the right footing with God.

Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:

1. Lord, expose to me any faulty and weak foundation in my life, Jesus' name
2. Any fault in the foundation of my life; be repaired by the power of God Almighty, in Jesus' name.
3. Holy Ghost, help me to be build a solid foundation that will withstand all the storms of life in Jesus' name.
3. Make our G. O and our mummy in the Lord to continue to stand on God’s solid foundation, in Jesus name.

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL...TOPIC: GOD WILL QUALIFY YOU

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL...
DATE: Monday, April 24th, 2017.
TEXT: Daniel 1:15-20

TOPIC: GOD WILL QUALIFY YOU

MEMORISE: “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness….” (2 Corinthians 12:9 (a)

MESSAGE:

Our G. O has a favourite saying; that ‘Life is not by struggle’ and that ‘even if you are not qualified, God will qualify you’. To the unbeliever, this might sound strange but it is actually very real and true for those that choose to rely on God rather than their own strength and abilities. If you choose to rely on your own capabilities and physical strength, then you are in for a rough ride. You will struggle hard with no guarantee that you will even make it. While a few might be lucky, most people end up working like an elephant and eating like an ant. If the race was for the strongest then a truck pusher should have been the richest man on earth because he expends great physical energy in his work from morning to night. That does not reflect in what he takes home for all that labour.

This does not mean that you will work hard or put in no effort and expect a big windfall. No. Rather it means that whatever you want to do, first ask God for direction and guidance. The Bible says that we should commit our ways unto the Lord and He will direct our steps. You don’t need millions to start something. With little or nothing God can reveal to you an idea that will generate billions. He can divinely arrange your steps to connect you to a connection that on your own you could never have dreamed of. He will grant you favour that when you bid for a contract you will be favoured amongst others. He will give you divine utterance that when you go for that interview you will be able to impress the panel. This is because you have placed God first and committed your ways to His hand. While others are struggling He will go ahead and clear the path for you. That is what it means when we say that God will qualify you even when you are not qualified. God will never allow those that trust in Him to be put to shame.

Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:

1. Lord, I commit my ways unto you, open the heavens for my sake in Jesus' name.
2. O thou God of Chosen, qualify me even where I may not be qualified, in Jesus' name.
3. Dear Lord, go before our G. O and our mummy in the Lord and make every crooked path straight for their sake, in Jesus' Name.

HOUSE CARE FELLOWSHIP MESSAGE.........TOPIC: ENCOURAGE THE WEAK

HOUSE CARE FELLOWSHIP MESSAGE
Date: 23/04/2017
TOPIC: ENCOURAGE THE WEAK
TEXT: Isaiah 35:3-4; Matt.25:31-40
Every believer must be an encouragement to one another in the faith. We should know that we are the spiritual Israelites and as the physical Israelites are surrounded by the enemies on every side in the Middle East; so also, we are surrounded by the enemies of God and His people in this world (1 John 5: 19; Rev. 12:7-12).

So, as a result, the unbelievers around, fight and persecute us, be they husband, wife, brother, sister, mother, father or neighbours. So, we should encourage one another.

We shall consider this message under the following sub-headings:-

1. The Reasons And Ways
2. Our Expected Response And The Effect

1. THE REASONS AND WAYS

We should know that encouragement helps those that are weak or discouraged to be strengthened and to have courage to move forward (1 Kings 19:1-8). Also, for us to know that we are not alone and that somebody is with us and cares for us (1 Kings 19:9-10, 14-18); we can encourage one another by visiting, caring, giving help, by prayers or phone calls and sharing the word of God.

2. OUR EXPECTED RESPONSE AND THE EFFECT

We that are elders and are born-again truly should forget our problems, but help and care for others like our Master Jesus Christ and the Apostles did (Phil.2:4-8; John 12:23-26). We should not be selfish or concerned with only our needs, we should take up that cross and follow the Lord to care for others (Matt. 16:24-25; Gal.6:1-2; 2 Cor.6:1); and as we care or comfort them (Isaiah 35:3-4), they shall be encouraged, serve God, and make heaven at last; and the Lord shall reward us at the end.
Your welfare in eternity is God's concern and ours. Please join us in the next study.

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL...TOPIC: The Lord Shall Enlarge Your Coast

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL...
DATE: Friday, April 21st, 2017.
TEXT: 1 Chronicles 4: 9-10
TOPIC: The Lord Shall Enlarge Your Coast
MEMORISE: “Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.” (Hebrews 6: 14)
MESSAGE:

The Bible says in Ecclesiastes 7:8 that better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof. This means that it is not how you start that is important but how you end. It does not matter where your beginnings started from. You might have been born into a wretched background with no hope. That should not define you. When a person has an encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ, becomes a new creature and old things pass away. He automatically has a new start. With Jesus, you can begin a new story. That was the case of Jabez. His situation looked so bleak that his own mother named him sorrow from birth and there seemed to be no hope for him. He would have gone through his whole life in sorrow if not for God. The Bible says that Jabez was more honourable than his brothers. This means that he was a righteous man. He lived a life pleasing to God and God heard him when he prayed. It was Jabez’s righteousness that allowed him access to God’s throne of grace and He turned the situation of a man named Sorrow into joy! He has the capability to reproduce the same power in your life if there can be a practical sign that you believe.

You may be thinking there is no hope for you because of where you are coming from. Nobody in your family or generation has ever amounted to anything in life. Your situation may seem hopeless. Do not despair. You are now in the palace of the Great King - the God that makes impossibilities to be possible and turns negative situations around. Like Jabez, you need to be more honourable than your brethren before God can use you to deliver your family. When you submit to Him, He will intervene on your behalf. It is time to change your situation - if only you will surrender to Him.

Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:

1. Dear Lord, bless me and enlarge my coast in Jesus' name.

2. Let your hand of power be upon me and keep me from evil and sorrow in Jesus' name.

3. Father, use me to liberate my family and let me be a joy of my generation in Jesus' name.

4. Enlarge the coast of The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries so that we can spread the gospel all over the world, in Jesus' name.

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL...TOPIC: What Do You Do More Than Others?

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL...
DATE: Thursday, April 20th, 2017.
TEXT: Matthew 5: 43-48
TOPIC: What Do You Do More Than Others?
MEMORISE: “For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 5: 20)

MESSAGE:

As believers in Christ, we have been called to a higher standard than what obtains in the world around us. What might be permissible for others may not be acceptable for us as children of God. To whom much is given, much is expected. We have been given much. The Spirit of the Living God dwells in us; so we are temples of the Most High God. We have been redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus. Thus, we are expected to be holy just as our Father in Heaven is holy. We have been charged to follow the footsteps of Christ even if it goes contrary to the world order. While others might engage in unrighteousness that has now been branded ‘normal’ by the society such as bribery and corruption, immorality, smoking, drinking, lying, cheating, unforgiveness and malice, etc, we have been called apart to live holy lives. Indeed many people may even call us stupid or foolish but we must remember that the God we serve has called us to holiness.

Many churches preach a watered-down version of the gospel that preaches ‘grace’ which instead of transforming lives, has become a licence for sinful living. In this context, the grace of God will mercifully cover their sins and has nullified the law. They go on sinning while at the same time claiming grace. This is a deceitful teaching. The truth is that with the grace of God we can now overcome sin that we were not able to do in the flesh before grace was made available by the shedding of Christ’s blood on Calvary. True grace empowers; not a licence for sin. Therefore, our righteousness must exceed that of the scribes and Pharisees if we want to enter heaven. You have received power to overcome the world.

Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:

1. Father, give me the grace to live a holy and righteous life in this corrupt world in Jesus' name.
2. Make me a shining example and light in the midst of darkness, in Jesus' name.
3. O thou God of Chosen; take our G. O and our mummy in the Lord to a higher spiritual height that will cause them to remain focused and committed towards actualizing our vision and mandate, in Jesus' name.

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL...TOPIC: What will God say about you?

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL...
DATE: Wednesday, April 19th, 2017.
TEXT: Job 1: 6-8
TOPIC: What will God say about you?

MEMORISE: “For I know him, that he will command his children and household after him, and they shall keep the way of the Lord, to do justice and judgement…” (Genesis 18: 19 (a)\

MESSAGE:

There are several instances in the Bible where God expresses His approval of a man. He called Abraham His friend and revealed His plans to him because He (God) found him faithful and obedient. He told Aaron and Miriam that Moses was special because of his humility and faithfulness such that He spoke to him not in dreams or vision but mouth to mouth. He also called David a man after His own heart despite David’s failings. In today’s reading we see God boasting about Job to the devil. He asked Satan if He had considered Job and went on to extol Job virtues as a righteous and upright man who daily sought to please God and ensured that he remained blameless before God. He would even make sacrifices for His children just in case they had unknowingly sinned while they were making merry. He was a person who diligently sought to please God and God took notice. God is looking for men and women that He can trust and even boast of.

If God were to make the same assessment of you today, what would be His opinion about you? Will He rate you in the same level as Abraham, David, Job or Moses or will He say that He does not know you? Brethren we must strive to be pleasing to God at all times so that He can fight for us and bless us. In addition it is only those that the Lord is pleased with that will enter into His rest and make heaven at the end of their lives. Let us therefore press forward with determination to work towards receiving a crown and hearing God welcome us home with the words, ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant.’

Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:

1. Dear Lord, purify and sanctify my heart for your use in Jesus' name.
2. Lord, make me a vessel worthy of honour, in Jesus' name.
3. Father, let my ways be pleasing to you in Jesus' name
4. Dear Lord, give my G. O and Mummy in the Lord and their children the grace to finish strong so they will receive a crown of glory, in Jesus' name.

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL...TOPIC: All THINGS ARE YOURS

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL...
DATE: Monday, April 17th, 2017.
TEXT: Luke 15: 21-31
TOPIC: All THINGS ARE YOURS
MEMORISE: “Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours.” (1 Corinthians 3:21)

MESSAGE:

Many are dying of lack in the midst of plenty. Hosea 4: 6 (a) reckons, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” A man bought a ticket for a boat cruise. After purchasing the ticket he did not have much money left so he decided to take along a lot of snacks like crackers, bread, groundnuts and the likes to snack on during the trip since he didn’t have much cash to buy food on the ship. During breakfast, lunch and dinner, he would lock himself in his room and snack on dry bread or crackers. This continued until the very last day of the cruise when he happened to meet an old friend that was also on the trip. After exchanging pleasantries, his friend asked how come he had not been seeing him during meal times. He replied that he did not have much cash so he usually snacked on the food he brought along with him. His friend laughed and said ‘the ticket you brought covered not only the trip but also the meals!’

Likewise in our text of today, we see the brother of the prodigal son feeling bad that his father threw a party for his brother who had wasted all his inheritance on frivolous living while he that had been faithful and obedient had not been given a goat to share with his friends. He was sad and dejected until his father pointed out that all he had was his for the asking. He was suffering in the midst of plenty because he lacked knowledge of what was rightfully his. Are you suffering in the midst of plenty because you do not know what the Father has in store for you? As children of the Most High God it is His desire to give us the kingdom (Luke 12:32). It is time for you to begin to claim your rightful place. God is set to make you fruitful and multiply.

Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:

1. I refuse to suffer in the midst of plenty in Jesus' name.
2. Dear Lord, open my eyes to the opportunities that abound and bless the work of my hands, in Jesus' name.

3. Because God has said it, I believe it and I am sure that settles it. I therefore decree and declare it that our G. O, our mummy in the Lord, their children and the entire congregation of The Lord’s Chosen ministry, are for sign and wonders, in Jesus' name.

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL...THEME: LOVE ONE ANOTHER AS HE LOVED US

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL...
DATE: Tuesday, April 11th, 2017.
TEXT: 1 John 4: 7- 21
THEME: LOVE ONE ANOTHER AS HE LOVED US
MEMORISE: “A new commandment I give to you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another” John 13:34

MESSAGE

God is love. He demonstrated His love for us that while we were yet sinners and without our appeal, He sent his only begotten son Jesus, who had no sin to die a shameful death on the cross for us. That punishment was what we justly deserved but Jesus bore it on our behalf. John 15: 13 says "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man laid down his life for his friends." The irony of the matter is that we were not even his friends at the time he laid down His life for us as we were still in enmity with God. We were reconciled to God by His death. Glory and praise be to God who so wondrously loved us even when we did not deserve it.
As His children, He expects us to love one another the same way He loved us. We are to follow His footsteps. He has commanded that we love both our friends and enemies alike. If we are to love only our friends, then what difference is there between us and unbelievers? We are to love those who hate us. It is our love that will bring them to repentance. Anytime you are confronted by a difficult person who the devil may be using to provoke you to anger, we must be very cautious as to not fall for the bait. Instead use that opportunity to radiate the love of Christ by preaching the word and answering in a gentle tone no matter the provocation. Never repay evil or anger with the same coin. Instead go on your knees and petition God to fight the battle for you.

Most importantly we must also seek to show love to our brethren in the body of Christ. In these challenging times we should not close our eyes to those of us who are in need of help. We should offer practical help in whichever way God has placed within our reach to help. This is a practical demonstration of God’s love.

Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:

1. God make me a carrier of you love today in Jesus' name.

2. God strengthen the love between the body of Christ and let strife and contention cease in Jesus' name.

3. Dear Lord, shower your love upon the Chosen ones today in Jesus' name.

4. As our G. O and Mummy in the Lord spread the news of your love around the world, dear Lord bestow your everlasting love upon them and their family in Jesus' name

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL...EXAMINE YOUR MOTIVES

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL...
DATE: Monday, April 10th, 2017.

TEXT: James 4:1-4.

THEME: EXAMINE YOUR MOTIVES

MEMORIZE: “There are many devices in a man’s heart; nevertheless the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand ” Proverbs 19:21

MESSAGE

Sometimes it is important for a person to step back and examine his or her heart especially when it seems that God has turned a deaf ear to our persistent cries. The person may have fasted, prayed, sowed seed and yet it seems as if the yoke will not break. At times like this it is important that we take stock of our lives to make sure that we are not the ones causing our own delays. Is there any unconfessed sins? Are you resisting doing restitution? Is there any area of your life where you are in disobedience to the Word of God? Whatever may be the case, you need to ask God to reveal it to you so you can deal with it.

There is however another aspect we should consider and that is what our main motive behind our request is? Is it to glorify God or to satisfy our vanity or lust? Why do you want to become a billionaire? Is it to finance the work of God and to be a blessing to His numerous people who are in need? Or is it so that you can become a mover and shaker in the society so everybody can be singing your praises and you become a ‘god’ to people below or around you? Is it to buy the latest and fastest cars and live in big mansions? Many have received God’s blessings and ceased to follow Him. They no longer come to fellowship. They are now too big to sit on plastic chairs. Whatever your motive is, God knows. He sees your innermost heart. He knows the beginning from the end. He is not interested in your comfort but your soul. For those He loves, He will delay the blessing till your heart and motives are aligned with His word. He will not give you a gift that will condemn your soul to hell.

In our text of today, James told us we ask and do not receive because we ask amiss. Are we into that category of people that seek the blessings of God to satisfy our lusts and not to deploy such for His use and glory? If so, we need to seek His face and ask for a change of heart and forgiveness. Remember we came with nothing and will go with nothing. Therefore we need to learn contentment and godliness. In both there is no sin.

WHERE IS MY LOVE?

SUNDAY COMBINED SERVICE MESSAGE

DATE:  9TH APRIL, 2017

TEXT: Malachi 1:6-10, Matthew 22:35-40, Romans 8:35-39, 1 John 4:7-12, Revelation 2:4

TOPIC: WHERE IS MY LOVE?

The first commandment is that we should love God with all our heart. Matthew 22:37. The question you have to ask yourself is the love of God you have, is it with all your heart, soul and mind?
Every Chosen or believer should show the evidence of the love of God. God Almighty has showed His great love towards us, His love toward us is a special one. John 15:16, Romans 5:8
The fact that you are a genuine child of God or a real child of God is not only by professing it with the mouth, it is not enough to say we love God or we have the love of God but it is not really seen in you.

Many people claiming that they love God without demonstrating it is practically a false claim. The Lord is asking you today, where is the love of God in practical demonstration? Revelation 2:4. Many people have abandoned their love of God.

We shall consider the following sub-headings:
1. AN URGENT DEMAND AND REASONS: Our Father in heaven is demanding His love from us. Anyone that doesn’t have the love of God is a sign that he/she doesn’t have the spirit of God. If you don’t have the love of God, you cannot make yourself available for the work of God. God is demanding His love from the church. He equally demands His love in the area of service. God’s love conquers all. All that God has given us today free of charge is because of His love. John 3:16.

Jesus died for all human race, both Jews and Gentiles. Anybody that claims to have love wont limit that love to just his/her friends. We should show love to God above whatever we are going through.
Job suffered terribly but there was never a time He spoke against God or did evil against God. At the end, God blessed him better than his previous state. If you are claiming to love God only when things are good, the Lord is telling you that it is not right, love Him unconditionally. Romans 8: 35-38,39.

People claim to love God but they exhibit nonchalant attitude and character in church, they mess the house of God, litter the compound, spit on the floor of the church.
The love of God covers everywhere, so if we love Him we have to cover every area of His service. Brethren, if you love God, I don’t need to compel you to do His service and work for him. 1 Corinthians 13:4.

POINT TWO: OUR EXPECTED RESPONSE, EXAMPLES AND BENEFIT
1 Corinthians 1:26-29, Mark 10:28
The Apostles left all and followed Christ, now that is love. Acts 2:44-46, Luke 10:30 The evidence of loving our church is that we give our time and talent, we must find something to do in the service of God. If you love somebody, you will not see the wrong the person has done, even if the person has done you evil, you will continue to show love to that person even though they are at fault you have to show that you love that person.
We also show that we love God in giving and sowing seeds, God will not abandon us. Let us be zealous, keep to time, attend all the fellowship in the week, attend workers meeting if we claim to love God.

HERBALIST CHARM FAILED ME

HERBALIST CHARM FAILED ME BUT AS I TRIED GOD OF CHOSEN, HE HELPED ME AND ESTABLISHED ME.

Palm 146:3 says, "Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help."

The above advice from the Holy Scripture is still very helpful and as many that heeds to it receive succour but this was different in the case of our brother, Sunday Nwibo who patronized an herbalist for a way forward in life. Instead of his situation turning around for good, his fortune turned for the worse, he was relegated below the point he's operating from before enquiring from that Witch Doctor.

KIDNEY STONE QUASHED BY GOD OF CHOSEN

KIDNEY STONE QUASHED

Isaiah 44:26 says, "That confirmeth the word of his servant, and performeth the counsel of his messengers.. "

God honoured the word of our beloved Daddy in the Lord as he was praying in one of our services when he placed a curse upon a kidney stone ravaging the system of one of the attendees. As this prayer was on, a brother, Obinna who was diagnosed with kidney Stone Disease in one of the renowned hospitals in Nigeria was let loosed. This malady have sent many to their grave untimely but God of Chosen preserved him and even healed him.
Before going into his testimony, let's see the meaning of, 'kidney Stone'

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL...DO NOT JOIN THE MULTITUDE

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL...

DATE: Saturday, 8th April , 2017.
TEXT: Exodus 23: 2, Proverbs 1:10, Mathew 7:13-14
THEME: DO NOT JOIN THE MULTITUDE
MEMORISE: “There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death” Proverbs 16:25

MESSAGE:

Our Bible reading for today is very apt for the times we find ourselves into now. Indeed everybody even unbelievers are in agreement that the world is coming to an end. This is because there is so much evil and perversion in the world. Almost all the signs that Jesus predicted that will happen before the end comes are being fulfilled in our very eyes such as wars, famines, pestilences earthquakes, false prophets and persecution of believers to mention just a few. Indeed the kind of abomination that is taking place openly now could not even be whispered in the closet just a few years ago. Evil is being legitimized with purity and holiness being branded as extremism, or at best old fashioned. These are undeniably strange and perilous times.

We believers must therefore be on high alert and not fall prey (Matthew 24:24-25). We should never be deceived into thinking that it is okay to do something that God expressively told us not to do, just because the majority of the world seems to have endorsed it as okay and seem to be getting away with it. Our God is unchangeable. His standards are not lowered neither do they change over time. His eyes are too pure to behold evil. He has called us to be separate from this world. Our ways and belief system must align with the Word of God and not to the world system. For His eyes run to and fro throughout the whole world to show Himself strong to those whose ways are perfect towards Him.

If you are ever faced with a choice between obeying God or the world system, always choose to obey God. We should keep in mind that the journey to Heaven is a narrow path. It will be riddled with trails and temptations. It will not always be easy but He has made His grace available to ensure we overcome. In our weakness, He is made strong. Don’t be discouraged when the world will mock you or persecute you for your faith , for righteousness. Instead, rejoice that you are living a life pleasing to God, the only one who matters. Look unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith and He will see you through.

Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:

1. O Lord, give me grace to shun worldliness and the distractions of this present age in Jesus name.
2. Lord set me apart for your use in the name of Jesus.
3. Father, lead me to the paths of righteousness for your name sake in Jesus' name.
4. Oh Lord make the Chosen Ones to dwell in your presence always in Jesus' name.

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL...Ye shall not fear them: for the Lord your God he shall fight for you

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL...
DATE: Friday, April 7, 2017.
TEXT: Joshua 1: 1-9
THEME: FEAR NOT

MEMORISE: “Ye shall not fear them: for the Lord your God he shall fight for you” Deuteronomy 3:22
MESSAGE:

In our passage today we witnessed the mantle of leadership being passed from Moses to Joshua. Joshua must have felt overwhelmed with the task ahead. The task must have seemed daunting and impossible. How would he measure up to such a great leader like Moses who God communed with one on one? God’s message to Joshua was one of encouragement and reassurance. He told him to be strong and have courage. God promised to back him up as long as he totally trusted and obeyed Him. Moses was great because he relied on God. It was not Moses that worked all the mighty miracles but God and the same God was willing to use Joshua if Joshua would also trust and obey.

With God all things are possible and we need not fear the battles that are raging or those that might come our way in the future. The Bible is full of examples of God telling us to fear not but to trust in His saving grace. In fact throughout the Bible, both in the Old and New Testaments we are constantly reminded to fear not because our God is greater than any problem or situation we might find ourselves in. He is in full control at all times and there is nothing He cannot do.

Why does God continually tell us not to fear? Firstly, faith cannot work in the presence of fear. The two are incompatible. As Christians we must always exercise faith and not fear. Indeed anytime you are afraid, you are no longer exercising faith. The Bible tells us that without faith it is impossible to please God. Secondly, fear also points to a lack of trust in God. It means we do not trust Him to be faithful to His word and promise. This attitude is also displeasing to God. Finally fear makes us take our eyes off God’s greatness and ability to do all things even that which seems impossible to us. In other words, fear makes us doubt God’s power to save.

What then is that ugly situation in your life that is causing you to fear? God is telling you today ‘fear not! Rather, fix your eyes on Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. He will see you through.

Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:

1. O Lord, give me the grace to always rely on you at all times.
2. Everything causing fear and doubt in my life be silenced in Jesus' name.
3. I bind every spirit of timidity and loose the spirit of boldness in Jesus' name
4. Dear Lord, grant my G. O. and Mummy in the Lord the boldness to preach your word all over the world

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL...THEME: HOLD ON TO HIS PROMISE

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL...
DATE: Wednesday, April 5th, 2017
TEXT: Genesis 12:1-3
THEME: HOLD ON TO HIS PROMISE
MEMORISE: “And the Lord visited Sarah as he had said, and the Lord did unto Sarah as he had spoken" (Genesis 21:1)

MESSAGE

God is a faithful God. He is not like man that promises and fails to honour his promise. He will do what He says He will do. It sometimes however seem to us human beings that God is taking His time or might even have forgotten that which he promised us. As human beings we want to receive the promises like yesterday. But we must remember that God’s ways are not our ways nor is his thoughts like ours. He is not constrained by time. The bible says a thousand years are like one day. He also is never late. He arrives just in time. And he makes all things beautiful in His time.

Our reading today is about the calling of our father in faith Abraham. God called Abraham when he was 75 years old and promised that He would make him a great nation. In faith Abraham left his father’s house and followed God’s leading to an unknown destination. He believed that God was able to do which he had promised and it was accredited to him as righteousness. However, it took 25 years for the promise of fruitfulness to be fulfilled. During those years Abraham and Sarah must have wondered if indeed they had heard right. At a point they tried to ‘help’ God by having a child through Sarah’s maid Hagar. That plan brought more confusion than it did solution. We should never try to rush or ‘help’ God. Doing so will only complicate our situation.

God, however at His on appointed time, fulfilled His promise. It was at a time when nobody but Him could claim the credit or the glory. He made the impossible to become possible and by so doing gave hope to generations to come that there is nothing that is too hard for Him to do.
What is the situation in your life today that makes you think that the Lord has forgotten His promise concerning you? The God that made a 90 year old woman conceive is still on the throne today. Be rest assured that it shall surely come to pass if you faint not.

Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:

1. God of Chosen give me the grace to wait upon your promise in Jesus' name.
2. O Lord increase my faith and make it unshakeable, in Jesus' name.
3. Any demonic agent that has been assigned to block my long awaited miracle receive fire in Jesus' name.
4. God of Chosen please grant the heart desires of our G.O and Mummy in the Lord as they labour in your vineyard in Jesus Name.
